East Midlands CPF

East Midlands CPF
  • CPF gives Members of the Party the opportunity to take part in policy discussions and get their voice heard. The aim of the East Midlands CPF is to find out the views of Conservative members in the East Midlands and put forward their views and ideas on national issues and we also have the opportunity to circulate our own ideas and views that personally affect the people of the East Midlands.
  • A two-way flow of ideas from the Party Members to Conservative HQ. The CPF is a national Party Group that gives Members the opportunity to discuss the major policy challenges facing Britain, the findings of these events will be collated and reported back to Conservative Party HQ (CCHQ). The national CPF is chaired by Oliver Letwin, Minister for Government Policy, and the national Director is Natalie Elphicke. CPF groups are active in Constituencies in every Region and Area.

  • The national CPF provides discussion briefs for each CPF group to consider. The CPF groups meet locally to hear what their members have to say. They then report back to the centre on what their members think. These reports will reach the highest levels of the Party, right to cabinet level, and will influence the development of Party policy ahead of the next General Election.
